Who are you?
I am, I am. If you want to know me, you have to know my friends, my lovers, my family. You have to know the books that I
consider to be well writing. The conversations that I have, my desires, the subjects I think about and the things that I
experience. I am wherever I cry about and what I yearn for. The motion pictures, the art, the architecture and the landscapes that I love. Clothes, colours, food and the particular moments I like these kinds of things. You have to know where I've been and you had to be there yourself when I was. You have to look through my eyes at the world, wanting to know who I am.
"Since each person, as an individual, is the not-being of the other, it is never possible to eliminate non-understanding
completely."
Friedrich Schleiermacher -- The Academy Addresses of 1829: On the Concept of Hermeneutics
